David’s latest novel, First Family, is reviewed in a post on Meggie’s Book Club.
The parallel plots move forward alongside each other throughout the book, only colliding towards the end. Typical of Baldacci, the plot is complex and the characters are well developed.

David’s novel The Collectors is reviewed in a post on A Journey Through the Desert.
It is a fast-paced read with very little unnecessary fluff to slow you down. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys a good thriller and especially for anyone who has enjoyed previous books by David Baldacci.

David’s latest novel, First Family, is recommended in a post titled “This Week at Mobile Tech Manor #45: Secret Programs and a Thin(k)Pad” on the jkOnTheRun blog.
I also read a thriller by David Baldacci, his latest, “First Family.” This book continues the adventures of former Secret-Service-agents-turned-private-investigators, Sean King and Michelle Maxwell. It’s the best one of the series to date, and is a very good story of kidnapping, murder and obsessive revenge. I highly recommend this book for thriller lovers.

David is mentioned in a profile of a local school principal titled “Religion Profile: Linda Gutheit, Principal, David Posnack Hebrew Day School” the the Ft. Lauderdale Sun-Sentinal.
Reading is my greatest salvation. It allows me to escape. I used to like what was traditionally considered women’s reading, like romance novels, but now I really like legal thrillers, mysteries and espionage. I love Harlan Coben, Stuart Woods and David Baldacci. I’m finishing First Family by Baldacci now.

David’s latest novel, First Family, is recommended summer reading in an article titled “Summer Offers Chances to Escape” in the Glasgow [KY] Daily Times.
Baldacci’s book presents a kidnapping at Camp David where members of the First Family have gathered to celebrate a birthday. There are good guys and bad guys and several surprises in this entertaining bit of escapism. I was fascinated with the information concerning the presidential lifestyle and all its security details.

David’s latest novel, First Family, is appreciated in a post titled “Shreve Ho… And Other Thoughts on Books” on the Red Room blog.
Per usual, it didn’t take me very long to devour the latest from David Baldacci. First Family, like all of Baldacci’s novels, had its share of twists and turns, intrigue and mayhem, and, yes, a few deaths…. Readers won’t be disappointed.

David’s latest novel, First Family, is recommended reading in an article titled “Father’s Day Recommendations from Amazon” on Examiner.com.
The follow-up to the #1 New York Times best-seller Simple Genius features characters Sean King and Michelle Maxwell—former Secret Service Agents turned investigators. They are called in by the First Lady to investigate the abduction of a child from Camp David (the presidential retreat) during a party turned public relations nightmare. The line between friend and foe proves to be significantly blurred in this race against the clock.

David’s latest novel, First Family, is recommended summer reading in an article titled “These Summer Books Have a Chilling Effect” in the New York Daily News.
It’s always a good thing when David Baldacci brings back former FBI agents, and now private investigators, Sean King and Michelle Maxwell. They’re called in when the First Lady’s sister is murdered and her 13-year-old niece kidnapped.
The villain is one weird dude holed up on a crumbling plantation in Alabama, someone no one would suspect. But to get to him, in time if they can, the two have to wade through some seamy “First Family” (Grand Central, $27.99) business.
