The audiobook edition of David’s novel The Collectors is reviewed in a post on 2009 – The Year in Books.
The Collectors has been criticized by readers for leaving the ending open-ended, but it’s more like a cliffhanger, going into the third book.

David’s Camel Club series is the subject of a post titled “Machinations of the Camel Club” on Levent’s Kaleidoscope.
David Baldacci has been one of my favorite writers in the last few years, especially because his fast-paced thrillers. He has introduced The Camel Club in 2005 and this has written 4 books involving the Club members.
I am surprised that these books haven’t yet been adapted to the big screen, since they seem to be perfect for that.

David’s Camel Club series is mentioned in an opinion piece titled “So, Have You Read Any Good Books Lately?” in the Odessa American [TX].
The books were by David Baldacci and Robert B. Parker. As you may know, Baldacci’s Camel Club series is based on conspiracy theories and government intrigue, while Parker writes hard-boiled detective novels.

David’s novel Split Second is reviewed in a post on The Clare-Panton Family blog.
Baldacci does a superb job of maintaining the suspense without giving away too many details or making the reader feel he knows more than they do (which of course he does but you shouldn’t really feel that way).

David’s novel Split Second is reviewed in a post titled “Book Review # 13 and 52 Books # 4” on My Two Blessings.
Split second is an excellent story with many twists and turns and keeps you reading long into the night…. This is the first time I’ve read anything by David Baldacci and will be going back for more.

David’s novel The Christmas Train is reviewed and recommended in a post on R&B: Read and Blog.
This was a good Christmas story and the ending took me completely by surprise; I’m sure to be reading it again next Christmas. Surprisingly, this is the first Baldacci book I have read and I know this is not his usual fare, but of course I will be reading some of his other books in 2009! I definitely recommend it.

David’s novel The Whole Truth is reviewed in a post titled “Get ‘The Whole Truth’” on What Diane’s Reading.
“Whole Truth” is perfect for guys (though many women are also fans of Baldacci) who love political thrillers. Not as technical as Tom Clancy novels, but as gripping and fast paced.

David’s novel Total Control is reviewed in a post titled “Total Control or Losing Control” on The Plot Cafe.
I found Total Control to be a well-crafted thriller that held my attention right up until the end. As with all of David Baldacci’s novels there are lots of clues on the way but even if you think that you know the outcome he leaves little twists for the ending.

David’s novel The Collectors is reviewed in a post on LiveJournal.
Baldacci has written many books and knows how to reveal bits about the people in his books so you know enough about them to keep the story moving. When you need to know more, you find out and he pulls this off very smoothly.
