On Soulmate

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David is mentioned in a post titled “Pursuing Your Passion” on the Soulmate blog.

Let me share another example. David Baldacci was a lawyer with a wife and two children. Yet he had a passion to be a writer. Between 10pm and 2am every night, he worked on his writing. He had fun doing this – it wasn’t a chore. He did this for 10 straight years and completed some short stories and screen plays.

On Cheryl’s Book Nook

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s latest novel, Divine Justice, is reviewed in a post titled “Where Is Justice” on Cheryl’s Book Nook.

I have to admit that I have not read any of the other books in this series, so I was surprised by how easily I enjoyed this book. I read it in a matter of a few hours. Having said this, I never felt like I had missed too much by not reading the other books. I now want to go back and read all the rest of the books in the Camel Club series.

In The New York Times

Published by Office Staff under Print,Web

David is mentioned in an article titled “Publishing Displays Its Split Personality” in The New York Times.

At the other end of the spectrum was Hachette Book Group, whose Little, Brown and Grand Central Publishing units together represent some of the biggest commercial authors, including David Baldacci, Nelson DeMille and James Patterson, not to mention the category-killing vampire queen, Stephenie Meyer.

On the Civilian Reader

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s novel The Whole Truth is reviewed in a post on the Civilian Reader blog.

Baldacci’s The Whole Truth is a tour-de-force of international intrigue, espionage, corporate greed and manipulation. It will grip you from the very first page. Fifteen novels into his career, Baldacci shows no signs of slowing down or losing his edge. Simply superb.

On Nate’s Library

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s latest novel, Divine Justice, is reviewed in a post on Nate’s Library.

Divine Justice is a delightful continuation (maybe conclusion) of the Oliver Stone series. I just loved it. Baldacci has done a really good job ending each volume at a clean and satisfying point.

In the Howard County Times

Published by Office Staff under Print,Web

David’s novel Absolute Power is mentioned in a column titled “The Invisible Woman” in the Howard County Times.

Background actors around here work a lot because David Simon, George Pelecanos and David Baldacci find secrets, sex and sleaze aplenty in the streets and offices of Washington and Baltimore. They paint dark and vivid portraits of these cities and inhabitants in their best-selling books, which are then turned into TV shows (“Homicide: Life on the Streets” and “The Wire”) and a movie (Baldacci’s “Absolute Power”).
