Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s talent is appreciated in a comment about his novel Total Control in a post titled “Getting Through the First 100 Pages” on Novel Blog – Writing The Great American Novel.

I’m currently reading Total Control by David Baldacci, and he makes the transition out the first act look easy. I really admire his talent.

On Nea

David’s novel Stone Cold is reviewed in a post on the blog Nea.

It is not a must to read these two prior books by David Baldacci – The Camel Club and the Collectors – but I think it would help you follow along with the story. The author has created some very interesting characters for this novel and the reader will learn to like them even though they might be someone you should have doubts about.

On The Writer and the White Cat

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s novel Stone Cold is reviewed in a post titled “Stone Cold – The New Camel Club Adventure by David Baldacci” on The Writer and the White Cat.

You have to be asking yourself, “The New Camel Club Adventure, is that like the boxcar kids? The answer is that the Camel Club series by David Baldacci is quite the opposite. It is a series of novels that I expected to dislike, but instead became a devoted fan of each new installment.

On Oldhugh

David’s latest novel, The Whole Truth, is mentioned in a post titled “What the Meaning of ‘Is’, Is” on the Oldhugh blog.

David Baldacci recently wrote a great novel titled “The Whole Truth”. The story centered on an entity that basically created perceptions of fact that were totally fabricated, but playing on human nature and one’s perceptions of what should be, could imitate fact. It is fiction but it is scary because it mimics real life so closely.

On Lynne’s Little Corner of the World

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s writing style was mentioned in a review of Michael Palmer’s First Patient on Lynne’s Little Corner of the World blog.

I’ve read quite a few of Mr. Palmer’s books and enjoyed them all. This was a good book, one I didn’t want to put down. It reminded me a lot of David Baldacci‘s Washington mysteries, with some of Robin Cook’s experimental medical stories thrown in.

On Missing Monkey Head

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s latest novel, The Whole Truth, is reviewed in a “Recently Read Book” post on the Missing Monkey Head blog.

Baldacci’s premise is actually somewhat conceivable, even if his characters are not. As far as “perception management” and the creation of truth are concerned, you’d be hard-pressed to convince me that News Corp. isn’t the entity after which the book’s collective antagonist is modeled.

In the Village News

Published by Office Staff under Print,Web

David is mentioned among other celebrities and notables interviewed by the Village News in an article titled “Celebrating Ten Years” in the Village News.

The Village News has been fortunate to interview, and have conversations with, notables such as Cong. Randy Forbes, former Governor and candidate for Senate Mark Warner, Gov. Tim Kaine and Senator Jim Webb, and other state and local politicians. Robert Kennedy Jr., Michael York, David Baldacci, Peter Bogdanovich, and Carl Bernstein are among others that a small weekly newspaper wouldn’t typically get a chance to converse with.

On Gather

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s novel The Whole Truth is reviewed in a post on Gather.

David Baldacci‘s thrillers seem to capture the pulse of the nation and current events with unnerving accuracy. His latest book “The Whole Truth” looks at what would happen if a war was manufactured through internet blogs, fake news leaks, and the deliberate dissemination of false information.
