In the Chesterfield Observer

Published by Office Staff under Print,Web

David is mentioned among other writers whose works are popular in for summer reading in an article titled “Summer Reading is Good for Mind and Soul” in the Chesterfield Observer.

In addition to books by Evanovich, Roberts and Robb, both men and women choose books written by John Grisham and David Baldacci. Women also like Kathy Reichs mysteries, while men are more interested in Clive Cussler adventures [according to Faye Waters of Midlothian's The Book Exchange bookstore].

On Roopa Swaminathan’s Blog

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David is the featured subject of a post titled “David Baldacci’s Book-a-thon!” on Roopa Swaminathan’s Blog.

One of the most common questions I get asked (since I’m also a bonafide writer who blogs during the times I don’t write) is how? How do writers like Baldacci write up to three books a year?

Moderator’s note: David recently started publishing two novels a year, one in the fall and another in the spring.

On Roopa Swaminathan’s Blog

Published by Office Staff under Blog

The frequency of David’s thriller releases is references in a post titled “An Appeal to John Grisham – Why He Needs to Write a Sequel to ‘The Appeal’” on Roopa Swaminathan’s Blog.

I love lit fiction almost as much as I love mainstream fiction. I’m actually even a little envious of writers like John Grisham and David Baldacci who know the pulse of the audience and deliver fast paced books at a fairly regular rate. Okay. So Baldacci publishes his new book even before I finish the old one but that’s a whole different story.

On Nate’s Library

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s latest novel, The Whole Truth, is reviewed in a post on Nate’s Library.

David Baldacci takes his style of thriller international with The Whole Truth. And he gives us a new suite of interesting characters… This being a Baldacci book, not everyone will get out alive.

On The Book Nest

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s novel Wish You Well is reviewed in a post on The Book Nest blog.

This book is a good story. I cared for Baldacci‘s characters and at times his writing was tender and poignant. The courtroom scenes were intriguing and well written.

On Reviews and More

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s novel The Simple Truth is reviewed in a post on the Reviews and More blog.

I’m always on the lookout for different, established authors to read, so when a friend of mine recommended David Baldacci, a man who has published 15 novels to date (many of them bestsellers), I decided to give his works a try. Since I wasn’t familiar with any of the titles, I just selected The Simple Truth at random.

On Life Liver

David’s novel The Christmas Train is reviewed in a post titled “Book Reviews” on the Life Liver blog.

[The Christmas Train is] a delightful G-rated story of trains, mystery, character studies and romance. And it does it all without resorting to sentimentality.

On Faithworks in The Baptist Standard

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s work is mentioned in an article titled “Hiding in Plain Sight” about Radovan Karadzic on the Faithworks blog in The Baptist Standard Web site.

But the plot twist in the Karadzic saga spun out this Monday, July 21, when he was arrested in Belgrade, Serbia, living in plain sight. Sounds like a turn in a Robert Ludlum or David Baldacci novel.

David’s first novel, Absolute Power, is reviewed in a post on Literary Ladies Club, Est. 2007.

Scandalous, murderous, preposterous enough to come true. 542 pages of Washington, DC mayhem involving the rich man’s dead wife, the American President, Secret Service agents, a felon you gotta love…

On Pamela’s Punch

Published by Office Staff under Blog

The fact that David sets many of his novels in the Washington area is appreciated in a post titled “Book Signing for ‘Party Favor’ Author Nicole Sexton” on Pamela’s Punch.

As someone who has lived in the Washington area since 1990, I am fascinated by books that are set in this community and expose it openly from all sides (which is one of the reasons David Baldacci is one of my favorite authors).
