Fans have long said that the Camel Club represents Baldacci’s best and – at least until next book – Hell’s Corner proves that.

On The Book Book

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s novel Deliver Us From Evil is reviewed in a post on The Book Book.

As always, Baldacci sets his scenes beautifully and provides his trademark sharp dialog. The action is intense at times, but the story lacks the punch of a great thriller relying on dramatic scenes instead of building the tension continuously.

On The Smirking Chimp

Published by Office Staff under Blog

The writer of a blog post titled “BoucherCon: David Baldacci, Martin Cruz Smith & 1,000 middle-aged ladies” on The Smirking Chimp reports on being able to ask David a question about his writing at the recent BoucherCon.

But most important of all, I got to ask David Baldacci a most burning question: “How come, if you have sold millions and millions of copies of books that expose the CIA as basically an above-the-law group of paid assassins — and millions and millions of Americans have read your books — then how come nobody in America seems to be trying to put a leash on the CIA?

“I don’t know why that is. But all I can do is to just keep writing and hope.”

In the Malaysia Star

Published by Office Staff under Print,Web

David’s novel Deliver Us Evil is reviewed in an article titled “Serial Thriller” in the Malaysia Star.

The pace of the novel is fast and keeps you turning the pages, with Baldacci using his classic style of steadily building up the suspense through the plot, as opposed to numerous chapter-ending cliff-hangers that end up being nothing.

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s novel First Family is reviewed in a post on TracyReaderDad Book Reviews.

I think it is pretty obvious that Baldacci is one of my all time favorites (yeah…I have a few), but, once again he has written a truly remarkable thriller that kept me going thru the hardest few weeks of my life (still hard, but, getting better slowly). See ForCarol.com to see what that was….and please donate if you can!

On Pat’s Posts

David’s novel The Collectors is reviewed in a post on Pat’s Posts.

How Baldacci twists and melds  divergent plots so that the interwoven interesting characters keep me on the edge of the pages, always amazes me.
