On The Column, Reloaded

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s Camel Club is mentioned in a post titled “Speaking Your Piece: Blogging Whys and Hows” on The Column, Reloaded.

We need more, well, I said it. Independent thinkers. Folks who don’t give a rip what the mainstream is saying. Folks who, like that guy in David Baldacci’s Camel Club, “want the truth.”

In The Wall Street Journal

Published by Office Staff under Print, Web

David is mentioned in a column titled “What Were They Thinking?” in The Wall Street Journal.

John Edwards is currently the subject of a book, “The Politician,” that reads like a David Baldacci novel, that is, if David Baldacci wrote on LSD. The only thing missing is the hiring of a Serbian hit man to finish off Mrs. Edwards.

On My Paper Heart on My Sleeve

David’s novel Wish You Well is reviewed in a post on My Paper Heart on My Sleeve.

I would recommend this book to someone who’s looking for something to read that is not a love story for once, for people who love coming of age tales, and for those that love stories that warm the heart. :]

In the Windy City Times

Published by Office Staff under Blog

David’s mastery of political thrillers acts as an analogy for the plot of Roman Polanski’s latest movie, The Ghost Writer, in a review of the film in the Windy City Times.

As McGregor falls deeper down the rabbit hole and the stakes are raised, the movie takes on the feel of one of those David Baldacci political potboilers in which the reader is given an entertaining but phony-baloney peek behind the scenes of corrupt political power and dirty money intersecting—and a lot of creepy, murderous characters who will do anything to hang on to it.

David’s work is mentioned in a post, a review of Nicholas Carr’s The Atlantic article “Is Google Making Us Stupid,” titled “Blog #11 Reading Response” on 2010 Thoughts, Feelings and Ideas.

Now I crave the likes of Vince Flynn and David Baldacci, because it has to be fast, has to move me from the start.
