David’s Camel Club is mentioned in a post titled “Speaking Your Piece: Blogging Whys and Hows” on The Column, Reloaded.
We need more, well, I said it. Independent thinkers. Folks who don’t give a rip what the mainstream is saying. Folks who, like that guy in David Baldacci’s Camel Club, “want the truth.”

David is mentioned in a column titled “What Were They Thinking?” in The Wall Street Journal.
John Edwards is currently the subject of a book, “The Politician,” that reads like a David Baldacci novel, that is, if David Baldacci wrote on LSD. The only thing missing is the hiring of a Serbian hit man to finish off Mrs. Edwards.

David’s mastery of political thrillers acts as an analogy for the plot of Roman Polanski’s latest movie, The Ghost Writer, in a review of the film in the Windy City Times.
As McGregor falls deeper down the rabbit hole and the stakes are raised, the movie takes on the feel of one of those David Baldacci political potboilers in which the reader is given an entertaining but phony-baloney peek behind the scenes of corrupt political power and dirty money intersecting—and a lot of creepy, murderous characters who will do anything to hang on to it.
