Hallmark Channel will debut the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, The Christmas Train, on November 25. Based on the best-selling novel by David Baldacci, the film stars Dermot Mulroney as Tom Langdon, a jaded journalist who must travel from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles by rail in time for Christmas. Along the way, Tom meets all sorts of characters, including Agnes (Joan Cusack), who “seems to know his business better than he does,” and a big-shot movie producer Max (Danny Glover), who is working on the train with a script doctor, Eleanor (Kimberly Williams-Paisley), who was once romantically linked to Tom. View the first-clip and the trailer here. And then board The Christmas Train on Saturday, November 25 at 8PM ET!

To help with your prep work, we chatted with seven of this year’s featured authors — including David Baldacci and the “Outlander” series’ Diana Gabaldon — about their talks and the books they’ve loved in 2017.
